 Personally I am not a fan of sports, but maybe you like them.

Baseball

If you like baseball you should check out the Mets or Yankees, I am sure you already heard of them. The Mets plays in Queens, and the Yankees in Bronx

Basketball

Another famous one goes. New York Knicks, an original NBA Team, where you can meet with celebrities as well, if you are careful

Hockey

The New York Rangers play in the Madison Square Garden, where you can experience a rowdy atmosphere.

American Football

Who neverd heard of the New York Giants?They play in the MetLife Stadium, their regular season runs from September through December. 

And  think you also heard of New York Jets, you surely check it out because NFL football is a great American sport tradition.
